Terms and Conditions of Service

Screens Works+ provides custom screen fabrication, screen repair, dry screen cleaning, and installation and delivery when requested and quoted.

Service availability is subject to an evaluation of the screen, windows, work area, and required materials.

There is no minimum number of screens required to request service.

A deposit equal to 50% of the preliminary estimate is required to schedule the initial visit and may be paid through ATH Móvil or our website.

The visit allows us to evaluate the work, verify existing conditions, and take measurements when applicable.

The deposit stated in the quote is required to confirm a job.

Custom fabrication begins only after the measurement visit, approval of the final quote, and receipt of the required deposit.

The outstanding balance must be paid in full no later than the day before delivery or installation unless another arrangement is agreed to in writing.

Payments may be made through methods authorized by Screens Works+, including ATH Móvil and our website.

Screens are made to fit each window or opening. Fabrication therefore requires an official Screens Works+ visit to take and verify measurements before production.

Measurements, materials, colors, profiles, mesh, and other components may affect the final price.

Once a custom screen enters production or materials have been cut specifically for a project, the corresponding deposit is nonrefundable.

Every repair is subject to prior evaluation.

A screen can be repaired only when its frame, mesh, and other components allow the work to be performed reasonably and safely.

Severely deteriorated, bent, broken, corroded, or significantly damaged screens may not qualify for repair. In those cases, we may recommend a new screen.

Screens Works+ does not guarantee that every damaged screen can be repaired and is not responsible for preexisting damage or further deterioration during reasonable handling of an already weakened screen.

Due to drought and water-conservation conditions in Puerto Rico, cleaning is currently offered only through dry methods, including vacuuming, brushing, sweeping, or other suitable tools.

Water washing is not currently offered.

Cleaning is subject to the screen's condition. Broken, fragile, severely deteriorated screens or screens with compromised mesh do not qualify for cleaning.

Before beginning work, Screens Works+ may evaluate the screen, frame, window, and work area. We may stop or decline work when continuing could cause additional damage or create a risk.

Fabrication, repair, delivery, and installation timelines are estimates. Depending on quantity, materials, project complexity, and workload, a project may require one week or more.

Estimated times may change due to material availability, weather, emergencies, property access, customer-requested changes, or events beyond our reasonable control.

Visits must be canceled or rescheduled with sufficient notice.

Deposits associated with custom materials are nonrefundable once those materials are purchased, cut, or prepared.

Changes requested after quote approval may result in additional charges and a revised delivery date.

Screens Works+ warrants that contracted work will be performed using reasonable practices and the materials stated in the approved quote.

Any specific material or workmanship warranty will be stated in the applicable quote.

Warranties do not cover misuse, pets, impacts or cuts, third-party alterations, hurricanes, storms, strong winds, corrosion, salt exposure, environmental conditions, lack of maintenance, or accidental damage.

Work not included in the original quote is an additional service. Screens Works+ may present an additional cost for customer approval before performing it.

Photos, measurements, or descriptions supplied by the customer may be used for a preliminary estimate, but do not replace an in-person inspection or measurement when Screens Works+ determines one is needed.

For fabrication, final measurements are those verified by our team during the applicable visit.

Payment of a deposit, approval of a quote, or authorization to begin work constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.

Screens Works+ may update these terms when necessary. The current version will be available at screensworks.com.

Additional terms may apply to a particular project and will be stated in the applicable quote.
